STEEL STRUCTURAL DESIGN MANAGER

I. Job Description

Directly lead and manage the steel structural design department, ensuring that design quality meets the highest standards while optimizing project execution efficiency. Proactively collaborate with relevant departments to provide comprehensive design solutions that fully meet the technical and economic requirements of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage personnel: Build, develop, and manage a team of design engineers, assign tasks, assess work performance, and create a professional, dynamic, and creative working environment.
Project management: Plan, coordinate, and closely monitor the progress of design projects, ensuring completion on time and meeting quality commitments.
Ensure quality: Thoroughly review design drawings, ensuring compliance with strict standards, regulations, and customer technical requirements.
Technology development: Research and apply new technologies and advanced design software into the workflow to improve efficiency and product quality.
Cross-department coordination: Actively collaborate with sales, production, and construction departments to ensure consistency and continuity throughout the project.

Team development: Train, mentor, and improve the professional skills of department staff.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or related fields.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, with experience in team management.

Professional skills:

Proficient in using specialized steel structural design software.

In-depth knowledge of Vietnamese and international steel structural design standards and codes.

Ability to perform calculations, structural analysis, and prepare detailed technical reports.

Soft skills:

Strong leadership ability, effective team management, and motivation.

Professional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to solve problems and make quick, accurate decisions in complex situations.

Independent work and teamwork, able to work under pressure.

Proficiency in English communication.
